It costs $19.50 to visit Mount Tamborine Skywalk for an adult and $9.50 for a child. There are small discounted fees for seniors, students and YHA cardholders ($16.50), and families ($44 for two adults and a kid and $5 for extra kids). But you can walk in the rainforest for free in many places near Brisbane and the Gold Coast. So it’s normal to wonder if the Mount Tamborine Skywalk cost is worth it.

Mount Tamborine Skywalk

What to expect at the Mount Tamborine Skywalk

Mount Tamborine Skywalk is a short walk in the rainforest. The path goes through a great variety of trees and vegetation. A couple of high boardwalks and lookouts offer visitors a bird view of the rainforest.

The circuit is only 1.5 kilometres and is non-guided. You can finish it easily in 20 minutes. But considering Mount Tamborine Skywalk cost, you don’t want to go too quickly. The idea is to enjoy the rainforest at a slow pace. I suggest allowing 30 to 45 minutes for the circuit. You may also want to spend a few minutes at the eco-centre and in the souvenirs shop.

Unfortunately, we didn’t spot any wildlife except the common bush turkeys while we were there. Mount Tamborine Skywalk is a top-rated attraction in the Gold Coast Hinterland which I guess is not the best to find wild animals near the path. But even if you don’t see them, you will hear beautiful bird songs.
